The classification of club covers:
The function of the golf head cover is to protect the golf club head. Different clubs require different club headcovers. Today, we are going to introduce the classification of wood head covers.
Applicaiton:
Different club covers are used for different club heads.
By usage, club covers are divided into the following three types:
(Note: Some club covers also come with elastic string.)
Driver Cover / 3-Wood Cover / 5-Wood Cover
UT or Rescue or Hybrid Cover
Typically, the markings 1, 3, 5, and X are used on club covers (though they can also be differentiated by size).
1 is often used for the Driver.
3 is typically for the 3-Wood.
5 is for the 5-Wood or possibly a higher lofted fairway wood.
X can be used for a specialty wood or a club that doesn't fit the typical numbering, such as a hybrid or a 7-Wood.
Iron Cover Set is typically sold as a complete set.
The markings 4-9, P, A, and S are used to differentiate and identify specific clubs within an Iron Cover Set.
4-9 refer to the iron numbers.
P stands for Pitching Wedge.
A often stands for Approach or Gap Wedge.
S stands for Sand Wedge.
Putter Cover are divided into Blade Type and Mallet Type


Material:
The outer layer of the club covers is primarily made of synthetic leather (PU).
Other materials can also be used.
(P.S.: The inner layer is usually made of soft velvet, providing better protection for the clubhead.)
Commonly, for club wood covers, the outer layer is predominantly made of PU Leather.
